Valorant has taken over the gaming community by storm. Millions are playing Riot Games’ 5v5 tactical shooter and love everything about it.
The core concept of Valorant is inspired by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; however, the game has a lot more to offer.
The best thing about Valorant is that the game developers are continually listening to the community to improve the game. The Valorant team recently confirmed that they would introduce an option for ‘Early Surrender’ in the game.
Every other week, the developer team lets players ask questions regarding the game on Twitter. Later, the developers answer some selected questions in their official ‘Ask Valorant‘ blog post.
In the same blog post, Ian Fielding, Valorant’s Senior Producer, addressed a question about “Early Surrender” in Valorant. In his reply, Fielding confirmed that the Valorant Surrender option would make its debut with the 1.02 update.
As of now, there’s no confirmation on how the ‘Early Surrender’ system will work. Valorant will reveal more details about it in its 1.02 Patch Notes. However, it’s safe to say that developers have begun testing this new feature.
In other words, VALORANT players will soon be able to surrender mid-match if they find things getting out of hand.
As we are on the topic, Valorant 1.02 update will also bring back the ‘Ranked’ mode. We can confidently say that Valorant’s upcoming update will bring a lot of new things to the table.
