Today, Poco has unveiled another smartphone for its Indian users — Poco M2 Pro, in an online event. This is Poco’s third launch of 2020 after it unveiled the Poco F2 Pro in May and Poco X2 Pro back in February.
The latest device from Poco, similar to the X2 series, focuses on the budget market and tries to bring great specs for a lower price. Interestingly, Poco M2 Pro shares many similarities with the Redmi Note 9 Pro with a few tweaks here and there.
Poco M2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 1080p LCD panel and a 16MP punch hole camera at the front. On the back, it features a square-shaped camera on the glass back with four sensors, including a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the inside, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and comes in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM options. The most compelling feature of Poco M2 Pro is its massive 5000mAh battery. Poco says the 33W fast charger, provided in the box, can change the device by up to 50% within 30 minutes.
Apart from that, the side button is mounted with a fingerprint sensor similar to other Poco phones launched this year. It comes in three color options, namely green, black, and blue, and features Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back and the front.
Poco has kept prices extremely low to remain competitive in the market. Poco M2 Pro starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB model, Rs. 14,999 for 6GB/64GB model, and Rs. 16,999 for 6GB/128GB model. According to the company, the device will exclusively go on sale on Flipkart on July 14th.
