Media files shared on WhatsApp messenger can take up a lot of space, and deleting them has always been a pain in the neck. However, the new WhatsApp manager makes it extremely easy to delete junk files.
WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned storage management tool worldwide that enables users to easily identify junk files and delete them in bulk.
Delete Junk Files On Whatsapp
WhatsApp’s new feature easily groups unwanted photos, videos and GIFs that have been forwarded multiple times and allows you to delete them in one go. It even shows previews of files in the new WhatsApp storage management in case you are unsure whether to delete a certain file or not.
The best part, however, is that all the files are sorted by size in descending order, making it easy to get rid of large files first. However, if you are short on time, you can jump directly to the “larger than 5MB” file section.
Previously, WhatsApp storage only showcased chats and offered options to delete all photos, videos and GIFs. However, now you can select media files and even preview them.
The new interface in WhatsApp’s storage management tool also features a bar that shows how much phone space has been consumed by WhatsApp media.
How to find WhatsApp Storage management tool?

The new WhatsApp storage management tool is rolling out to all users worldwide. The WhatsApp update hasn’t arrived on Android and iOS devices with us, however, we are hoping to get it by the end of the week.
Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on a disappearing message feature that will soon arrive on WhatsApp for Android and iOS.
