Nissan Magnite is one of the most anticipated cars to be launched in India. Last month, the automaker officially unveiled Nissan Magnite with a little overview of the specification. However, full specs have now been disclosed and it seems quite impressive.

So lets have a look at what Nissan has in store for the masses.

Apart from this, one of the most notable details is it’s ground clearance of 205 mm. However, this is in unladen condition and it can reduce around 4-5 mm in the loaded condition.

Furthermore, the curb weight of the Nissan Magnite varies from 939 kg to 1039 kg depending upon the engine and transmission options.

Basically, two different engine options are available: a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated (NA) and a turbocharged 1.0-liter petrol engine. Both engines are paired with a five-speed manual transmission. However, the turbo petrol variant is also available with a CVT option.

In terms of performance, the NA petrol engine churns out 71 BHP and 96 Nm of torque. However, the turbo variant generates almost 99 BHP and 160 Nm of torque with MT and 152 Nm of torque with CVT.

Nissan Magnite Mileage

The turbo petrol variant with a manual transmission is the most fuel-efficient with 20 km/l mileage followed by 1.0-liter NA petrol and Turbo petrol with CVT that delivers 18.75 km/l and 17.7 km/l respectively. The claimed mileage of 20 km/l of its turbo petrol variant is quite impressive as most of the cars in this segment provide a mileage of around 15 to 19 km/l only.

Safety Features

As you can see, some of the basic safety features include Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, Anti-Roll Bar, 3P Seat Belts with Pretensioner, Rear Parking Sensors, Child Lock, and much more. Considering the base model, we can say it’s not bad.

Furthermore, the higher variants include Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Start Assist, Traction Control, Hydraulic Brake Assist, to name a few. For more information, you can visit the official website of Nissan India.

Nissan Magnite has all the necessary safety features that are available in the vehicles in this segment.

Price Expectations

It seems Nissan has decided to announce this crucial information at the launch of Magnite as this was the only thing left to be unveiled. The automaker knows how to keep the game interesting till the end.

Anyway, we assume the prices of the upcoming Nissan Magnite would be around 5.4 to 9.5 lakhs (ex-showroom). Nissan will most likely keep a lower price range to have an advantage over its rivals like Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Venue.
